Drolet Escape 1500-I Wood Insert Trio (25–35 Ft) | Wood Stove for sale canada

The Drolet Escape 1500-I Wood Insert Trio (25–35 Ft) brings the performance of a modern wood stove into the footprint of your existing masonry or factory-built fireplace. Manufactured in Canada by Drolet — one of North America’s most trusted names in residential heating — this unit combines elegant design, environmental efficiency, and proven durability.

With its large firebox, advanced air-flow system, and extended burn time, it provides a sustainable, cost-effective heat source for medium-sized living areas.

Premium Canadian Craftsmanship

Drolet constructs the Escape 1500-I using heavy 5/16-inch steel for strength and long-term durability. The unit’s precision welds, cast-iron door, and ceramic-glass window withstand years of daily use while retaining heat efficiently.

Every component, from the baffle system to the air controls, is engineered for maximum performance. The result is a wood insert that delivers reliable warmth in the harshest climates — perfect for homes across Canada and the northern United States.

Powerful Heating Capacity Wood Stove for sale near me

Rated at 65,000 BTUs, the Escape 1500-I heats spaces from 500 to 1,800 sq ft efficiently. The 1.9 cu ft firebox accommodates logs up to 18 inches long, producing consistent heat for up to 6 hours per load.

The integrated blower kit circulates warm air throughout the room, increasing comfort and maximizing energy efficiency. Whether installed in a cottage, suburban home, or mountain retreat, it delivers dependable, steady warmth all winter.

Trio Package (25–35 Ft Liner Kit Included) | Wood Stove for sale online

This package includes the full Trio liner system — a 25- to 35-foot stainless-steel chimney liner, insulation wrap, and termination cap. The liner improves draft performance, enhances safety, and simplifies installation.

By choosing this all-in-one kit, homeowners avoid the hassle of sourcing separate components. The liner trio ensures optimal airflow and maintains efficient combustion even during extremely cold outdoor temperatures.

Clean-Burn Technology and Eco-Friendly Performance | Wood Stove for sale

The Escape 1500-I meets strict EPA 2020 and CSA B415.1-10 emission standards, producing just 1.26 g/h of particulate emissions. This clean-burn system uses secondary combustion tubes that ignite leftover gases, reducing smoke while extracting maximum heat from every log.

Homeowners benefit from lower wood consumption and a cleaner chimney — an environmentally responsible solution that supports sustainable home heating.

To enhance fuel efficiency, use properly seasoned firewood available from Seasoned Firewood for Homes. Dry hardwoods such as oak, maple, or birch burn hotter and cleaner, reducing creosote buildup and improving long-term performance.

Modern Design with Large Viewing Window | Wood Stove for sale

The Escape 1500-I blends functionality with style. Its large ceramic-glass viewing window offers a panoramic view of the flames, while the minimalist black finish complements contemporary or traditional interiors alike.

A cool-touch door handle and easy-glide ash drawer add convenience, and the cast-iron frame maintains a timeless aesthetic that enhances any living space.

Easy Operation and Maintenance Wood Stove for sale

Drolet designed the Escape 1500-I for everyday simplicity. The single air-control lever lets you fine-tune burn intensity effortlessly, while the removable ash drawer and smooth firebox lining simplify cleaning.

The high-quality baffle system promotes complete combustion, so less ash accumulates and more heat reaches your home. Occasional maintenance involves standard chimney cleaning and gasket inspection — both easy tasks for any homeowner.

Safe, Certified, and Built to Last

Every Drolet wood insert undergoes rigorous testing to meet North American safety and efficiency certifications. The Escape 1500-I includes ULC S628 and UL 1482 approvals, ensuring safe operation when properly installed.

Its sturdy construction and insulated liner keep temperatures consistent while preventing smoke leakage. These features provide peace of mind for families seeking an efficient, eco-conscious heating alternative.

Designed for Harsh Climates | Wood Stove for sale

Engineered in Canada, the Escape 1500-I performs reliably in extreme cold. Its thick steel body and high-temperature refractory brick lining retain heat even when outdoor temperatures drop below –20 °C.

Homeowners across provinces like Ontario, Alberta, and Quebec — and northern U.S. regions such as Minnesota or Maine — rely on Drolet inserts for dependable, clean-burning heat all winter long.

Energy Savings and Independence

By converting an existing open fireplace into an efficient wood-burning insert, the Escape 1500-I helps reduce home-heating costs dramatically. It delivers up to 77 % efficiency, turning more fuel into usable heat while reducing energy bills.

Wood remains one of the most cost-effective renewable energy sources available, giving homeowners independence from fluctuating gas or electricity prices.

For optimal results, pair this insert with premium seasoned hardwood from Seasoned Firewood for Homes. It maximizes output and extends burn time, allowing you to enjoy comfortable warmth with minimal refueling.

Installation Flexibility

The included 25–35 ft liner kit allows installation in most standard masonry fireplaces. The unit’s compact depth ensures a secure fit while maintaining a clean, flush appearance against the hearth.

Professional installation is recommended for safety and warranty compliance. Once installed, the insert requires only regular maintenance and proper fuel management to deliver decades of reliable service.

A Sustainable Heating Upgrade

The Drolet Escape 1500-I Wood Insert Trio represents an investment in long-term comfort and sustainability. Its efficiency, durability, and user-friendly design make it one of the most trusted wood-burning inserts in North America.

For homeowners seeking a renewable, high-efficiency alternative to gas or electric heat, the Escape 1500-I provides consistent performance with minimal environmental impact.

When combined with quality firewood and chimney accessories from Seasoned Firewood for Homes, it offers the perfect balance of style, warmth, and sustainability for modern living.
